How AI is used
Draft placeholder pending review by the client's counsel.
This tool uses AI to plan searches and summarize documents. Quotes are checked against the stored text; summaries can be wrong. Review the source document before relying on anything.
AI can be switched off for a matter. When it is off, searches are keyword (full-text) only, results show the matching stored text, and no document text is sent to any AI service.
When AI is on, passages from the matter's documents are sent to the AI provider named in the Privacy Policy under a zero-data-retention arrangement; the provider does not train on them. Each request contains passages from one matter only. The AI has no ability to take actions.
Every quote shown as verified has been matched word for word, by a program, against the stored text of the cited page. Quotes that do not match are dropped and counted in the "What was searched" note under each answer.
